Southern Wake Academy (SWA) is a publicly funded educational choice for grades nine through twelve, located in the heart of Holly Springs, North Carolina.  Currently the area's only charter high school, SWA offers a student-centered environment with very low student-teacher ratios.  With class sizes averaging around 14 students, SWA provides a more personalized high school experience.

Ninth and tenth grade applicants are accepted through December of each academic year or until slots are filled.  Upperclassmen are accepted on a case-by-case basis.
